Identities: Client Identity Package 004

After long afternoons and various talks with tutors about importing rss feeds into my flash site I have decided [for now] not to use this method. It was brought to my attention [by Andy Love] that although this is a very good idea that I may be veering away from the task itself, and that what I'm wanting to accomplish will/should be covered in the second year.

So for now, I will be finishing off the sections of the site and then if I have time trying to, but no necessarily incorporating the RSS feeds.

SPP1: 3D Animation 001

So far, this series of lectures/seminars on 3D Animation have been well, interesting. I think Andy might just have more energy then my 9 year old brother who's just drank a litre of coca-cola, that, or one too many coffee's!

I really like 3D Animation, and it's not just Pixar now! Although 3D Studio Max is slightly complicated.

Having missed the seminar [due to timetable issues] where you got to create your name I need to post my finished piece when its completed here, in this post, hopefully.

Identities: Client Identity Package 003

So, finally over the past few weeks I've started to put my wesbsite together after thinking about every aspect for so long, I've a had few hiccups along the way, which thankfully have been ironed out by Adrian and/or my 'How to us Flash...for Dummies' book, until now!

One of the main aspects of the site was to have a 'News' section on each area [Fly FM, Trent TV and Platform], so that everyone could see current events. Easy you say? Yeah well, I wanted to incorporate an online blog [much like blogger] for each area so that it was easily updateable for people who don't know computers that well. This was until Simon told me you can incorporate blogs into Flash, well, you can, it just would be so much easier in HTML...

I now have two options;

- Bin the idea of online blogs and carry on with the rest of the site,
or
- Don't construct the whole site in flash but to use flash elements.

Hmmm....
